For our Quality Team in Germany we are looking for a Senior Quality Control Engineer (m/f/d) located in Raunheim (Frankfurt Area)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for site level quality including maintenance of the certified ISO 9001 management system and driving product improvements through a collaborative approach of investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position holder is responsible for working with cross-functional groups to coordinate strategies for meeting customer’s requirements in all quality areas that also serve AE’s business needs.
- Ensure that copy exact principles are followed.
- Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, corrective and preventive action due to customer (internal-external) complaints.
- Define, design, develop and Implement SPC tools for assembly tools, manufacturing, and test fixtures.
- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality management system.
- Conduct internal audits, support ATEX audits, hosts external audits.
- Interact with Engineering and Operations to ensure an appropriate transfer of new products.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing activities of receiving / outgoing quality functions.
- Participate in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements.
- Review Engineering Change Requests for customer approval requirements and submission.
- Perform weekly, monthly trend analysis and coordinate corrective actions with involved areas.
- Defines SPC to manufacturing processes and monitor weekly and monthly performance, implement countermeasure.
- Interact constantly with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Materials, Support Areas to ensure robust processes using PPAP, SPC and LEAN tools.
- Take role of ESD coordinator and ensure that ESD controls are robustly implemented.

- Familiar with diagnostic equipment (SEM, EDX, X-ray analysis, scopes, etc), statistical yield analysis, physical failure, and root-cause analysis
- Measurable and extensive experience with influencing and negotiating in complex situations.

- Knowledge of IPC 610, Atex, Copy Exact
- Experience in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Preferable Excellent computer skills (Statistical Software, Office –Excel-,etc)
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1) and good German language skills (B2)
EDUCATION:
- Master degree (Manufacturing, Electronic Engineering) or Bachelor degree with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of products and applications
- LEAN Manufacturing tools
- Six Sigma Certification preferable
- Occasional interacts with other AE manufacturing locations.
