Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) - Focus: Monitoring systems on machining centres -
Your tasks – varied and technically challenging
- Installation of monitoring systems as part of retrofits and presentations – directly at the machine manufacturer or end customer
- Training of users in the safe and efficient operation of our systems
- Analysis and troubleshooting of faults in sensors, systems and installations (PLC interface, NC programmes, drive data, operation)
- Evaluation of machines and processes if they influence system function
- Close cooperation with product management: feedback on errors, customer requirements and technical improvement opportunities
- Sales support in the design of systems and technical advice to customers
Your profile – technically skilled and customer-oriented
- Completed training as an industrial electronics technician or industrial mechatronics technician
- Professional experience in the field of machine tools or machining, ideally as a setter or commissioning engineer
- In-depth PLC knowledge (Siemens, Fanuc) and NC expertise
- Very good German skills and solid English skills
- Independent, structured way of working and professional manner with customers
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany (occasionally to neighbouring EU countries)
- Class B driving licence
- Ideally, residence in southern Germany
