The internship assignment:
You will be part of the Architecture & Integrated in House-Planning team. Working directly for the European Manager of Architecture & Integrated Planning, you will have the unique opportunity to make changes and improvements to our processes. There will also be the possibility for you to get involved in project work. As such, you will learn to define various scope of works, deliverables milestones, tender documentations and the planning process in design and construction stages.
What You'll Do
- Understanding and being able to apply the principles of taking design and planning via construction into the build status such as contractual requirements for the liability and deliverables of lead consultants.
- Providing analysis of existing requirements and pricing to ensure the most cost-effective options.
- Learning the interdisciplinary design coordination in accordance to a defined scope of work with all consultants.
- Being included in the project cost budgets, working on cost estimates and being involved in value engineering to develop a solid understanding of cost drivers.
- Maintain day-to-day supplier relationships.
- Identifying and negotiate commercial cost reduction opportunities.

Responding to supply shortages as part of procurement strategies.
- Applying Project Management Tools and processes.
What You'll Bring
- Preferably studying a relevant degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and already experience with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong technical understanding of design drawings, reports and specifications.
- The ability to visualize ideas/designs such as to keep an overview and improve processes.
- Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment.
- Proactive work mentality, analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented and a strong team player.
- Fluency in English is a must and in German is considered a plus.
