Following the award of a major new semiconductor project in Dresden, Germany, we are seeking an experienced Site-Based Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our growing European operations team.

Role Overview
The Site-Based QS will be responsible for the commercial management of the electrical package of the project from commencement through to final account. Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Management Team, Client, and Subcontractors, the Electrical QS ensures the project is delivered within budget while maximising profitability and maintaining strong commercial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Full evaluation and interpretation of project contract documentation.
Planning and examining supplier and sub-contractor enquiries.
Providing precise, competitive and cost-effective valuations in a timely manner.
Preparation and distributing of contract documents to our supply chain.
Examining change in our scope of work and completion of pricing variations.
Preparing and agreeing Monthly progress claims.
Maintenance of accurate records of claims prepared, certificates issued and of retentions involved.
Commercial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts.
Preparation and delivery of monthly commercial project reports
Provide Information and analysis of issues & risks as required by Management.
Management and forecasting of project cash flow
All other duties associated with this role.
Essential Requirements:
Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
3-5+ years' experience in an Electrical Quantity Surveyor role within the construction or M&E sector.
Experience working on large-scale projects such as Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Industrial, or Commercial developments.
. A comprehensive understanding of work contracts.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and commercial management principles.
Excellent knowledge of contract forms (NEC, FIDIC, JCT, or similar).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience with cost management and commercial reporting software is advantageous.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
