Duties:

Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing accurate information and referrals related to community services.

Manage the Lending Closet, which includes issuing, receiving, and maintaining inventory of household items for military families.

Register clients for ACS classes and events, confirm their attendance, and handle any cancellations or rescheduling as necessary.

Assist with the in-processing and out-processing of military service members and their families, ensuring they receive the necessary information and resources.

Perform various administrative tasks, including record-keeping, filing, and updating information in the ACS database.

Provide courteous and professional customer service, whether in person at the front desk, over the phone, or through email communication.
Requirements:

Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds due to the physical demands of managing the Lending Closet.

At least one year of experience in providing information and referrals within a military or community service setting.

Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey information and respond to client inquiries both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Demonstrated customer service experience, with a focus on professionalism, courtesy, and the ability to handle a variety of client needs in a busy environment.
