Role Overview
Lambda Biologics is seeking a hands-on research associate to support organoid and iPSC-based research and translational programs in Leipzig.
This role is focused on day-to-day laboratory execution, including iPSC culture, organoid establishment, and experimental workflows.
The position will contribute to disease model development and translational applications, in collaboration with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain iPSC lines
- Generate and expand organoids from various tissue types
- Develop disease-relevant organoid models and manage the organoid biobank
- Execute daily lab operations (cell culture, media preparation, sample handling)
- Contribute to protocol development, data documentation, and project execution
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or higher) in Biology, Biomedical Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture
- Ability to independently perform routine lab work with high reliability
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in iPSC generation or handling
- Experience with organoid culture
- Background in disease modeling or translational research
- Prior experience in biotech, CRO, or translational research environment
