Our vision is clear: We aspire to be a global leader in developing and producing technologically advanced and sustainable products. We are passionate about improving the quality of life for people while preserving the resources of our planet. Our commitment to sustainability and responsible technologies is deeply rooted in our corporate philosophy.
Equally important to what we do is how we do it. Our culture is shaped by our CARE values – Curiosity, Accountability, Reliability and Excellence – and by our BOLD leadership principles, which guide the way we collaborate, lead and grow as an organization. We believe in a learning mindset, in being collaborative, in leading by example, in staying purpose driven, in showing resilience, in building trust, in acting with courage and in inspiring growth.
Technical Sales Management – Customer Focus, Commercial Drive and Cross-Functional Excellence
To drive our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Technical Sales Manager to join our KAM & Business Acquisition team. This position is designed for a strong customer-facing professional who can connect commercial opportunities with technical feasibility, operational capabilities and business objectives.
As Technical Sales Manager, you will act as the primary interface between customers and WIK Group throughout the full acquisition and project lifecycle — from initial customer inquiry and RFQ through quotation, project coordination and serial production launch.
You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and coordinating the internal resources needed to create competitive, feasible and profitable solutions. While maintaining a solid understanding of products, applications and manufacturing processes, you will closely collaborate with our System Experts, Corporate Technical Office, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
Your role will be central in ensuring that customer expectations are clearly understood, translated into internal action plans and aligned with WIK’s strategic, technical and commercial goals.
Customer Relationship & Business Development
You will serve as the primary customer contact throughout the acquisition and project lifecycle. Building strong and trustful relationships with customer stakeholders at operational, technical and management levels will be a key part of your role.
You will identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts. In doing so, you will gain a deep understanding of customer strategies, requirements, decision-making processes and market needs.
In close alignment with internal stakeholders, you will also support contract negotiations and commercial agreements, always ensuring that customer expectations and company objectives are balanced in a sustainable and profitable way.
RFQ & Opportunity Management
You will lead RFQ and quotation activities from receipt to customer submission. This includes coordinating all cross-functional input required for quotations, business proposals and customer presentations.
You will ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined, documented and communicated internally. You will monitor RFQ timelines, deliverables and approval processes, while supporting the development of competitive commercial proposals aligned with customer expectations and business targets.
Your contribution will be essential in turning customer inquiries into structured, commercially attractive and technically feasible opportunities.
Internal Coordination & Project Leadership
You will act as the central coordination point between customers and internal stakeholders. This means mobilizing and aligning resources from Corporate Technical Office, R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and other relevant functions.
You will translate customer requirements into clear internal action plans and work packages, ensuring that the right experts are involved at the right time.
A key part of your mission will be to create alignment between commercial objectives, technical feasibility, operational capabilities and project timelines — enabling WIK to deliver strong solutions and excellent customer experiences.
Market & Business Intelligence
You will actively monitor market developments, customer trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies. Your insights will support benchmarking, market analysis and strategic business planning.
You will identify opportunities for new applications, products and business growth, while contributing to regional market development initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
By bringing customer and market insights into the organization, you will help strengthen WIK’s long-term commercial positioning.
You will support pricing strategies, quotation development, profitability assessments and business case evaluations.
Your role will be to translate customer requirements into commercially viable opportunities and contribute to the achievement of sales, revenue and business acquisition targets.
Through your work, you will directly support sustainable and profitable business growth for WIK Group.
You have a degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management or a comparable discipline.
You bring at least 8–10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, key account management, project management or another customer-facing role in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Experience in an OEM/ODM business environment or comparable manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
You have a proven track record in customer acquisition, RFQ management, quotation processes and cross-functional project coordination.
You combine a strong commercial mindset with a solid technical understanding and the ability to connect customer requirements with feasible and profitable solutions.
You are curious and eager to understand customer needs, market developments and technical possibilities. You take accountability for your topics, act reliably towards customers and colleagues, and strive for excellence in the way you manage opportunities, communication and execution.
You are confident in managing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, and you are able to coordinate complex topics across functions, cultures and locations.
You have strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and you are comfortable interacting with customers at operational, technical and management levels.
You work in a structured, proactive and hands-on way. You are self-motivated, reliable and able to drive topics forward independently, also under pressure.
You demonstrate a learning mindset, enjoy collaborative work, lead by example in your area of responsibility and remain purpose driven even in complex situations. You are resilient, build trust with stakeholders, act with courage and inspire growth through your contribution.
You are fluent in English; German or other languages are a strong advantage.
Why us?
At WIK Group, you will find a work environment driven by innovation, teamwork and a strong belief in responsible and sustainable growth.
