About the role

As an HR Manager at PayNback, you will be responsible for building and strengthening the company’s people and workplace culture. You will develop and implement HR strategies, manage recruitment and employee engagement, support performance management, ensure effective HR policies and processes, and create initiatives that attract, develop, and retain talented employees while fostering a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement PayNback’s HR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and growth plans.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees.
Build and maintain a strong company culture and positive employee experience.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
Manage employee performance, appraisals, promotions, and career development programs.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, and internal events.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, and other HR documentation.
Handle employee relations, grievances, conflicts, and workplace concerns professionally.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate employee learning programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
Work closely with department heads to understand workforce requirements and support team growth.
Monitor employee satisfaction, retention, and overall workforce performance using relevant HR metrics.

Required skills

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing
Branding
Business Administration
or related field.
3–6 years of experience in Brand Management
Marketing
or Digital Marketing.
Strong understanding of branding and consumer behavior.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience in campaign planning and execution.
Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinking with attention to detail.
Experience in startup
fintech
retail
or SaaS is an added advantage.

Expected to maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and compliance with company policies.
Expected to support a positive work culture and address employee concerns professionally and promptly.
Performance will be reviewed periodically based on defined HR KPIs and organizational goals.
