The Role
- Identify and acquire new customers while expanding existing business relationships across your target market.
- Engage with prospects through phone calls, virtual meetings, and customer visits to understand their needs and present suitable solutions.
- Present our products and solutions to customers and guide them throughout the sales process.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and customer-specific offers while following up on sales opportunities and enquiries.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract discussions with customers.
- Generate and qualify leads using various channels, including direct outreach, referrals, databases, and social media platforms.
- Analyze market developments, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop new sales channels, target markets, and application areas to support sustainable growth.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Inside Sales, Product Management, and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM.
The successful candidate
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing commercial role, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong sales, lead generation, and customer acquisition skills.
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and confidence in managing sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- A customer-focused mindset combined with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to identify business opportunities within complex markets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using social media and modern sourcing tools to identify and engage potential customers.
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a results-driven approach.
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
