PORR is expanding its data center activities and is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy for large data center construction projects. The role is responsible for procurement governance, package strategy, long-lead equipment, subcontract tendering, supplier risk, commercial alignment, and support to project delivery.
- Leadership of project procurement strategy and procurement governance
- Development of the package procurement plan with commercial, technical, planning, and project teams
- Management of procurement for major subcontract packages and long-lead equipment
- Leadership of supplier engagement, tender strategy, negotiation, and recommendation for award
- Coordination of procurement risk management for programme-critical packages
- Management of procurement reporting, approval routes, tender audit trail, and supplier performance monitoring
- Collaboration with Legal and Commercial teams on terms, risk allocation, and contract conditions
- Support of value engineering, alternative sourcing, and supplier diversification
- Escalation of procurement issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, commissioning, or handover
- Mentoring of Procurement Managers, Buyers, and Procurement Specialists
