Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for material planning, goods receipt, transport planning, and inventory management
Ensure optimal material availability and efficient material flows throughout the supply chain
Continuously improve logistics processes and inventory levels
Monitor inventory coverage, stock limits, and supplier delivery performance
Develop proactive material planning strategies to prevent shortages and excess inventory
Manage supplier escalations and material shortage situations
Build and maintain sustainable supplier relationships
Lead supplier claims and complaint management activities
Analyze, document, and report logistics KPIs and inventory developments
Lead, coach, and further develop the Inbound Logistics team
Profile :
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience and further training
Several years of experience in inbound logistics, material planning, or supply chain management
Experience in the automotive supplier industry (mandatory)
Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, material flow, and manufacturing processes
Practical experience in material planning and purchased parts management
Good knowledge of SAP MM or comparable MRP systems, as well as MS Office
Business fluent German and English skills, both mandatory
Excellent communication, negotiation, and escalation management skills when dealing with suppliers and customers
Proven leadership capabilities, assertiveness, and a strong sense of responsibility
Analytical and process-oriented mindset with a focus on inventory optimization and continuous process improvement
