INTERNSHIP / THESIS IN CAE/FEM – POST PROCESSING

YOUR TASKS
In this role, you will contribute to the automation of Finite Element Method (FEM) post-processing workflows and support the efficient evaluation of simulation results.

Post-Processing Automation: You will support the CAE team in automating Finite Element post-processing activities and contribute to the implementation of efficient and scalable solutions.

Data Extraction: As part of this task, you will expand and further develop automated data extraction procedures within an existing framework to facilitate the analysis of simulation results.

API Integration: Working in a cross-functional environment, you will collaborate on the integration of a simulation data management system using suitable APIs.

Process Development: You will design and improve automation processes with a strong focus on traceability, transparency, and easy access to simulation data.

Software Development: In addition, you will develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code using AI-supported development tools.

Troubleshooting and Optimization: You will identify, analyze, and resolve issues within existing codebases and contribute to the continuous improvement of software solutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Enrolled Student: You are enrolled at a university throughout your time at HELLA and have not yet completed your final examination requirement.

Field of Study: You are currently pursuing a technical master’s degree or a comparable program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Programming Skills: You are proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or C++.

CAE/FEM Knowledge: You have previous exposure to FEM tools such as HyperWorks.

Linux and Simulation Environments: You have experience developing software in Linux environments. Ideally, you are familiar with cluster computing systems and FEA solvers such as ABAQUS or OptiStruct.

Software Skills: You are confident in using Microsoft Office applications.

Language Skills: You have effective written and spoken English communication skills.

Personal Attributes: You are a team player, capable of working independently, and demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm.
