The agile Release Train of the Customer Data Hub is responsible for developing and operating solutions that provide convergent customer data in real time from all IT stacks. Our team relies on innovative technologies such as K2View Fabric, Kafka, and cloud-native architectures in AWS, supporting millions of API calls and event triggers per month to enable digital interactions for millions of customers.
As a central expert in database management, you will actively shape the future of our data platforms (Oracle, PostgreSQL, S3) and ensure that our databases form the reliable backbone for business-critical applications and digital innovation.

What Awaits You:

You as ADBA – Expert Database Management for CDH (m/w/d) are responsible for the 24/7 availability and performance of all managed databases through analysis and optimization of the systems as well as the establishment of efficient monitoring.

You monitor and optimize database quality and performance through continuous analysis and regular reviews with development partners and operational units.

You are responsible for quality assurance and the implementation of new software releases for the databases.

You review and update operational and system documentation.

You coordinate and drive the independent, targeted handling and resolution of highly complex incidents in collaboration with or management of the Incident Management, Service Management Centre, development units, testing, internal and external suppliers, and service providers.

You initiate and manage necessary database patches to ensure the security and compliance of our databases.

You coordinate with project managers and architects regarding the planning and implementation of projects to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
