We're looking for an IT Systems Administrator who believes that the best support ticket is the one that never needs to be opened.
Your mission is not simply to resolve IT issues, but to prevent them through simplification, standardisation, automation, self-service and well-designed processes. You'll provide day-to-day IT support when needed, but you'll always be looking for ways to eliminate recurring problems and ensuring that every employee has a secure, reliable and frictionless IT experience.

Your typical responsibilities:-
Endpoint Management (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu Linux)

Provision, configure, maintain and securely decommission laptops, mobile
devices, using modern MDM solutions (Fleet DM, Windows Autopilot, Apple
Business Manager). -
Develop endpoint configurations and security baselines.

Inventory and documentation management

Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, MS 365, Atlassian Cloud, etc.)

Manage user and machine identities, roles and permissions.

Manage Multi-Factor Authentication policies and conditional access.

Software License Management

Forecast future licensing requirements.

Maintain an inventory of software and SaaS applications in use.

IT Equipment Procurement and Lifecycle Management

Plan hardware needs and coordinate IT procurement based on company growth.

Maintain accurate hardware inventory and lifecycle records.

Manage warranty, replacement, refresh cycles, and securely decommission devices.

Networking & Remote Access

Design, build, maintain office LAN and WIFI infrastructure (including wiring and patching).

Configure switches, VLANs, wireless access points and firewall policies.

Manage VPN and ZTNA for secure remote access.

Maintain network documentation, diagrams and patching records.

IT Service Management

Define, implement, and continuously improve ITSM processes (ITIL v3/v4), such as: Incident Management, Service Request Fulfilment, Change Management, Asset Management, etc.

Define and monitor operational KPIs and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Build and maintain an knowledge base, operational procedures and end-user documentation.

Automation, Industrialization & Continuous Improvement

Identify repetitive and error-prone tasks for automation and user self-service, using tools, AI agents, scripting, GitOps
and/or Infrastructure as Code. -
Simplify and standardise processes, data and interfaces.

Monitoring, Reliability & User Experience

Set up and manage logging and monitoring infrastructure (Grafana Loki, Prometheus).
-
Proactively identify common IT issues to make data-driven decisions.

Define metrics and monitor user experience with IT processes (e.g.: waiting times, satisfaction, etc.)

Security
-
Ensure compliance with company security policies.
-
Enforce and uphold security best practices such as minimum privilege, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, separation of duties, etc.

Assist with security compliance initiatives and audits (ISO-27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz).

Promote security awareness and good operational practices across the company.
-
At least 5 years of experience administering hybrid networks with Windows, macOS and Linux endpoints.
-
Experience managing Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Atlassian Cloud.
-
Solid networking fundamentals (specially troubleshooting): LAN switching, WiFi, routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, etc.

Security-conscious mindset and familiar with security best practices such as minimum privilege, multi-factor authentication, zero-trust, RBAC, PIM/JIT, etc.

3+ years of hands-on experience programming in two or more of the following languages, preferably in the realms of IT systems management and process automation: Python, Go, Unix Shell Script, PowerShell.

Experience with REST APIs, OAuth and OIDC.

Infrastructure as Code (IaaC): Terraform and/or Ansible. GitOps a plus.

Experience setting up and operating logging and observability platforms from the scratch (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry). Ability to think analytically, detect anomalies and extract insights from monitoring data.

Experience implementing or operating ITIL v3/v4 service management processes.

Fluent English, written and spoken.

Previous experience in the defence and/or law enforcement industries.

Familiarity with cloud-native technologies (virtualization, containers, Kubernetes).

Experience with public clouds (STACKIT, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).

Experience or familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices a strong plus.

Experience or familiarity with security standards such as ISO-27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz.

Understanding of DevOps processes and tools (e.g.: Git, CI/CD pipelines).

Experience automating IT workflows with AI agents, MCP, etc.
