Job Description
As Business Application Manager, D&IT Projects, you will drive the delivery of Information Systems (IS) solutions that enhance business performance across Santen EMEA. Working closely with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and other business functions, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of digital solutions—from planning and design to implementation, system management, and user adoption.
As part of the EMEA Business Solutions team, you will manage IS projects, support Santen's digital transformation, help shape the future application landscape, and ensure GxP compliance where applicable. Collaborating with stakeholders across the EMEA region and global teams, including Santen headquarters in Japan, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, business-focused technology solutions.
What you will do:

Lead and manage IS projects from planning through implementation, partnering with business stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, and Global Supply Chain.

Conduct business process analysis, design and implement system solutions, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Ensure GxP compliance and perform Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in line with the Santen ISPD framework.

Administer business systems, provide user support, and drive system enhancements to improve business processes.

Develop secure and efficient system operating models, maintain system documentation, and support IS audits.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.

Act as a trusted IS advisor to business functions across the EMEA region.

Ensure compliance with GxP requirements and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) guidelines.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role
-
University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor's/Master's).

5+ years of experience in Information Technology/Information Systems, including digital transformation, project management, vendor management, and delivering IT projects in an international environment.

Experience with data analytics, data science, and GenAI.

Strong project management and structured working approach, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Strategic thinking, customer focus, cross-functional collaboration, and cultural awareness, particularly when working with Asian (especially Japanese) stakeholders.

Strong English communication and negotiation skills.
Desirable

Knowledge of ITIL, Data Science, Data Analytics, and GenAI.

Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, commercial business processes, technology consulting and strategy.

Experience in change leadership, organizational development, and working with Japanese companies.
