About the Role
We are looking for a Service Technician with an electrical/electrotechnical background to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dosing systems, water recycling systems, control cabinets, and related technical equipment at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission dosing and water recycling systems.
- Construct systems and control cabinets at the Kriftel facility.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Test electrical systems and ensure safe operation.
- Carry out maintenance on chemical production equipment.
- Prepare service reports and document completed work.
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical support.
- Travel regularly to customer locations across Germany and Europe.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, repair, or field service.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic/measurement tools.
- Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Valid Class B driving licence.
- Willingness to travel.
- Independent, reliable, and customer-oriented working style.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic English is an advantage; German is preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Industrial/commercial machinery or laundry equipment.
- Dosing and chemical dispensing systems.
- Pumps, valves, sensors, motors, PLCs, HMI, or VFDs.
