Own the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of enterprise infrastructure platforms

Develop and execute the infrastructure strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives

Drive cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, and automation initiatives

Oversee platform capacity planning, performance optimization, and lifecycle management
-
Establish infrastructure engineering standards, reference architectures, and best practices
-
Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and regular resilience testing
-
Manage infrastructure budgets, forecasting, and asset lifecycle planning, while ensuring accurate documentation of infrastructure designs and operational procedures

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF certifications)

7+ years in infrastructure engineering, incl. 3+ years in technical leadership or platform ownership

Hands-on experience across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), including cloud adoption on a major hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Strong background in Infrastructure-as-Code and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Experience with ITIL-aligned service management, including SLA/KPI design and capacity planning

Working knowledge of ISO 27001, DORA, or BAIT

Fluent English required, German language skills are an advantage
