We at Gigafactory Berlin Design and Construction are looking for a Construction Manager to join an energetic and vibrant environment. In this role, your main responsibility is to coordinate Contractors on site- Through your work, you will play a crucial role in helping clients and stakeholders.
What You'll Do-
Works on multiple projects in different areas at the same time

Follows all DCRs (Design Change Requests) from concept to completion.

Quickly responds to queries and resolves any technical barriers to completion and mentors others to do so.

Pre-aligns with Technical Service Team regularly on the new systems to be implemented and proposes new standards.

Submits and follows RFIs (Request For Information) and FCRs (Field Change Request) when required with proposals and mentors others to do so.

Works with Procurement team to create biddable work packages and verify contractor bids against cost/schedule estimates, creates SoW and provides input for WA from design submittal to PO release.

Interacts pro-actively with Engineering Team, Construction Team, Legal, Commissioning Team, Manufacturing, TS and every stakeholder involved in the project.

Facilitates, follows up and reviews documentation for hand over process in time: Blue/Green Tag.

Tracks down and leads the hand over process of the different scopes.

Provides design input to Engineering Team during the design reviews.

Understands and leads construction, startup systems and sequences and review designs for constructability.

Develops templates and standards for future phases/projects.

Keeps the project in time and in budget.
What You'll Bring-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent exceptional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Autodesk tools.
- Willingness to spend substantial time on-site and engage directly in field work when required.
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with tight deadlines and ambitious targets.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in site management or similar roles on comparable projects.
- Solid background in construction techniques, EHS processes, guidelines, and risk assessment application.
- Good understanding of scheduling, cost control, and bidding procedures to effectively manage subcontractor relationships.
- Strong capability to read, analyze, and interpret design documents.
- Deep knowledge of health and safety regulations and their practical implementation on construction sites.
