To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Metalworker / Fabricator (m/f/d) with basic welding experience. In this role, you will support the production of metal and piping components. Your main responsibilities will include tack welding, preparing components for welding, and operating a modern orbital welding machine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, aligning, and tack welding components and assemblies according to technical drawings.
- Operating and monitoring orbital welding equipment.
- Loading, positioning, and securing workpieces for the welding process.
- Performing visual inspections and quality checks.
- Carrying out basic finishing and post-processing work on welded components.
- Supporting manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance activities as required.
Ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Completed vocational training as a Metalworker, Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter, Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable technical trade.
- Basic welding experience, particularly in tack welding and metal fabrication.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in operating orbital welding systems.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Good technical understanding and hands-on approach.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-conscious working style.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Valid Class B driving licence is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in pipework, plant construction, or industrial manufacturing.
- Experience working with stainless steel components.
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
Basic knowledge of welding processes and quality requirements.
