What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a dynamic and experienced SOC Lead to join the GFBB Security Operations Centre. This role is critical to maintaining the security posture of Tesla’s operations, ensuring rapid response to incidents, and fostering a culture of excellence within the SOC team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of security operators, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect Tesla’s people, assets and data.
What You'll Do-
Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate SOC operators, analysts and engineers.

Incident Management: Oversee the incident response process, guide investigations, and manage high-severity security incidents.

Process Development: Design, update, and maintain security policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Technology & Tools: Manage and optimize security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) to improve detection and reduce false positives.

Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and lead vulnerability assessments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with leadership and teams to enhance security strategies and response protocols.

Reporting: Generate metrics, KPI´s and reports for stakeholders, including incident documentation and risk assessments.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Proven experience as a SOC Manager, senior analyst, or in a leadership role within security operations.

Strong technical knowledge of security systems (access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, etc.).

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate/BI).

Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Experience in crisis management, disaster response, or high-risk environments is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Gallagher, Genetec, Sureview or similar security technologies.

Background in mentoring, process optimization, and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments.
