Based in Berlin, you will be part of the Strategic Finance & Strategy Central Europe team, acting as a key interface between Central Europe (‘CE’) management and local OpCos across 15+ markets. The team operates across FP&A, Strategy, and Investments, supporting management decision-making, regional business performance steering, and strategic initiatives across the region.
In this role, your primary focus will be on Strategic Finance and FP&A activities, with a strong emphasis on analysing and evaluating OpCo performance, coordinating forecasting and planning processes, and conducting benchmarking and financial analyses. In addition, you will support strategic projects and initiatives aimed at driving business growth and operational development across CE markets, working closely with regional and local stakeholders in a highly international and dynamic environment.

Your responsibilities:

Conduct regular reviews of OpCo financials to assess financial performance, business outlook, and integrity of financial statements

Coordinate and support forecasting and planning processes, including top-down planning, management meetings, financial roll-ups, and preparation of presentation materials for executive discussions

Drive the continuous improvement and standardisation of FP&A processes, reporting, financial models, and management dashboards, including the implementation of automation and business intelligence solutions across the CE region

Define and perform financial benchmarking analyses across territories to support business steering and management decision-making

Perform competitive and market analyses aimed at understanding trends, growth drivers, and developments across the music, entertainment, and technology industries

Support and coordinate the development and roll-out of strategic business initiatives across CE markets (e.g., D2C business)
We are looking for candidates who:
-
Have a strong academic track record in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; you hold a Bachelor’s degree and ideally a Master’s degree with above-average results

Bring at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting (Corporate Finance / Strategy focus), or a similar analytical finance role in an international and cross-functional environment

Have superior financial analysis, business performance evaluation, and problem-solving skills and can apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment handling multiple assignments

Have strong financial accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills, enabling you to assess financial statements, KPIs, and key business drivers and communicate your findings in a clear, highly structured, and impactful way

Have experience preparing management presentations and decision-making materials for senior stakeholders and can translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations

Have a strong interest in leveraging AI-based tools, automation solutions, and business intelligence technologies to improve workflows, reporting, and decision-making processes

Have experience with modern FP&A, business intelligence, and automation tools (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate) and are motivated to continuously expand your technical skill set

Are business fluent in both English and German (C1+/C2), with confidence in international stakeholder communication and presentations
