The Risk & Compliance Practice provides strategic, transformational and technical offerings in risk and compliance. We take a comprehensive view which enables us to help our clients grow their businesses while staying ahead of key risks, anticipating regulatory shifts, and instilling ethical practices. What You'll Do

Lead cross-functional project teams across financial institutions to develop and implement tailored credit risk strategies and operating models, with a focus on Credit Process Optimization, Credit Model Development and Validation (PD, LGD, EAD), Asset Quality Reviews (AQR), and regulatory capital frameworks
Drive projects focusing on regulatory compliance (e.g., AML, KYC, fraud prevention), risk governance, and credit portfolio optimization
Design and implement robust compliance management systems and target operating models for client onboarding, transaction monitoring, and risk classification
Support clients in navigating evolving regulatory environments and aligning risk and compliance priorities with strategic objectives
Collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders to enhance compliance maturity, integrate digital tools, and elevate risk and control frameworks
Mentor and coach consultants to support their continuous professional development

What You'll Bring

Srong Experience in FI/ Credit Risk and Compliance: Several years of experience leading engagements in credit risk strategy, regulatory compliance, or financial crime prevention in the banking or consulting sector, with a strong technical and quantitative foundation, including deep understanding of credit risk models
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional and cross-industry project teams, successfully delivering complex and challenging client projects.
Analytical and Technical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with proficiency in AI-driven risk analytics, credit risk modeling tools, and data analysis platforms commonly used in banking environments (e.g., Python, credit risk engines)
Consulting Experience: Track record of delivering projects for major European banks and financial institutions, helping them address their most complex credit risk and regulatory challenges. Experience with regulator-facing projects
Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively at the C-suite level and build trusted, long-term client relationships
Fluent oral and written language skills: German (C1) and English
