This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to support our customers, US Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces in Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA). The Program Manager will work closely with customers and staff to support up to 3 Europe-based projects. The Program Manager's responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and scope. Oversees all aspects of the project's onsite personnel. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of projects in compliance with all Contract Deliverables. Prepare reports for government customers and Program Managers regarding the project status. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.

What you will do
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaises between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Serve as the company's primary point of contact for project-related items and appropriately manage personnel, performance, scope, schedule, and budget matters for the company's contract support team.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress, intervention, and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Provide overall technical and financial management of tasks and milestones associated with contractual agreements.
Manage relationships and expectations with USAFE, companies we have a contractual relationship with, and our employees.
Evaluate the progress of project milestones and budget and modify work as applicable to ensure overall project quality, schedule, and budget.
Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders.
Assist in developing monthly status reports detailing work performed, schedule of activities, and issues/concerns arising or potentially arising in the following month's efforts.
Facilitate the development of information deliverables for a contract supporting the USAFE.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Assist with analyzing business requirements.

What we are looking for
6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
Experience managing performance-based projects and/or programs.
Demonstrated success managing diverse, co-located teams of significant size.
Demonstrated ability to brief executive leadership and General Officer-level stakeholders.
Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including leading up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
Experience in managing contracts in support of the Department of Defense.
Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI.
Bonus points for...
Masters or higher from an accredited university.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II (or higher) Program Management certification.
Experience with contractor requirements with Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) requirements throughout Europe and the DOCPER office and regulations for contractors working in Germany and/or Italy.
Experience managing contracts awarded and administrated by GSA/FEDSIM.
Experience with using Smartsheet in managing projects and utilizing Office 365 products to flatten communications with a geographically dispersed organization.
Physical Requirements
May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
