What to Expect
Location: Berlin
Time Type: Full Time
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: October 2026
Our internship program is built on a simple belief: the best talent should not have to wait to do meaningful work. We place exceptional students in roles where they contribute to real outcomes - working side-by-side with dedicated managers, mentors, and cross-functional teams to accelerate their growth both technically and personally. From day one, you will not be watching from the sidelines. You will own projects, drive decisions, and make a visible impact.
Join our Infrastructure Development team and take a central role in shaping Tesla's physical expansion across Central Europe. Reporting to the Real Estate Lead for Central Europe, you will support the real estate strategy across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Slovakia - primarily Tesla Centers and Delivery Centers, plus ad-hoc requests such as offices or warehouses. You will help identify, evaluate, and secure locations that bring Tesla's products and services directly to our customers. Activity is heaviest in Germany and Poland, with work across the wider region. This is not a passive support role. As a Real Estate Intern, you will own real deliverables and leave a tangible mark on Tesla's Central European footprint.
What You'll Do
- Drive location search campaigns across Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Slovakia) - identifying, evaluating, and shortlisting sites for Tesla Centers, Delivery Centers, and occasional offices or warehouses.
-
Serve as a coordination hub between internal stakeholders across teams and the eight Central European markets, keeping new and existing location projects moving forward on time.
-
Build compelling Real Estate Packages for leadership approval - clear, complete, and ready for decision.
-
Tackle ad hoc infrastructure challenges head-on, solving local operational problems with resourcefulness and speed.
-
Manage and review an active portfolio of leases, addendums, and renewals - with the precision that multi-market expansion across Central Europe demands.
-
Spot inefficiencies in existing programs and tools - and take ownership of fixing them, making the team faster and smarter.
-
Support site visits and external communications with landlords, developers, and brokers across Central Europe - preparing materials and joining negotiations as needed.
What You'll Bring-
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Real Estate, Finance, Business Management, Architecture, Economics, or a comparable field.
- Full professional fluency in English - written and spoken. German, Polish, Czech, or Slovak is a strong plus.
- Confident working in Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams). You are organised, detail-oriented, comfortable managing competing priorities, and drawn to operations and infrastructure. Prior internship or project experience is a plus.
- A valid driver's license and readiness to travel across Central Europe about four days per month for site visits and project support. You take initiative, thrive with a high bias for action, welcome feedback, and are eager to learn, adapt, and collaborate across functions and borders.
- A real passion for innovation, sustainable mobility, and the energy of building something that matters - in a fast-moving team that sets the pace.
Available full-time from mid-September or October 2026 for a minimum of six months.
