- Responsibility for planning, controlling, and tracking all quality-related project activities, including quality milestones and gate reviews in the Product Development Process
- Definition, evaluation, and safeguarding of product and process quality (including FMEA, risk and reliability analyses, quality control plans, critical quality characteristics)
- Ensuring complete and standards-compliant development documentation, as well as fulfillment of quality requirements for zero series, pilot production, initial sampling, and series ramp-up
- Leading root cause analyses and applying structured problem-solving methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa), including tracking of actions through to proof of effectiveness
- Participation in supplier quality management (definition of requirements, assessment of the maturity level of purchased parts, collaboration with Purchasing and Supplier Quality)
- Analysis of project-related quality KPIs, derivation of preventive measures, and cross-site lessons learned to support continuous improvement
- Preparation and presentation of quality-related status reports and management updates
- Functional leadership of the quality team within the project
- Completed technical degree (e.g. engineering, quality management, industrial engineering)
- Several years of experience in quality and/or project management in an industrial environment
- Excellent knowledge of relevant quality methods and tools (including FMEA, control plan, PPAP, APQP, 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, SPC, MSA) as well as experience with quality management systems (especially ISO 9001)
- Practical experience in project work and cross-functional collaboration, confident use of ERP systems, ideally CAQ systems, and very good MS Office skills
- Strong quality awareness, analytical and structured way of working, as well as strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills, with a confident manner, assertiveness, and conflict and negotiation competence
- Business-fluent English skills; German is an advantage
