Our department “MB.CHARGE Public, Renewable Charging & Analytics” is responsible for international market rollouts, developing and supporting innovative customer solutions related to charging the vehicle in the cluster "Charging @ Public". As a strong team, we work closely together across teams and divisions—within the Charging Unit, but also with our colleagues in sales, development, and IT. Our working method is strongly oriented towards an agile swarm logic and thrives on high flexibility and mutual support - including across team, unit and divisional boundaries. Your activities in our team MB.CHARGE Public North America & Analytics include supporting in market/product development topics and steering different projects for the overall development of the charging service under your own responsibility. The current focus is on the markets USA and Canada. In addition, our team serves as the cross-functional lead for all Data & Analytics topics across the entire Charging Unit, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting strategic, operational, and product-related initiatives.
In this role you are responsible for:
Business Development:

You will be involved in the development of holistic (digital) customer solutions for charging services and charging infrastructure in all use cases

You will work independently in various subject areas related to international product rollouts, further development of digital customer products as well as in the management of marketing and communication efforts

Preparing competitive analyses, strategic decision-making documents and top management briefings

You will work in the facilitation of workshops and management meetings with internal and external international Partners
Analytics:

Shaping the future of our Charging data platform

Identifying and translating business requirements into innovative analytics solutions

Design and implementation of Data & Analytics concepts, from data onboarding to dashboard development

Leveraging e.g. SQL, PySpark, or Power BI to generate impactful insights

Contribute to workshops and management meetings in an international environment
The focus of your work and topic split between both team parts can be individually adjusted to your knowledge and personal interests.
You should be able to start your internship in September or October latest. Please note that this must be at least partly a mandatory internship.
