Key Responsibilities / What You Do
As Head of Office to the Chief Officer, Health, you will act as a trusted advisor and extension of the Chief Officer, driving governance, coordination, and execution across a complex international environment while representing the Chief Officer in selected forums. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading cross-functional initiatives, driving outcomes, and ensuring alignment among stakeholders globally.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Steering Execution: Lead and independently drive key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, ensuring delivery against business priorities and timelines.
- Executive Advisory Representation: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief Officer by providing insights, constructive challenge, and recommendations. Represent the Chief Officer in meetings, decision-making forums, and stakeholder engagements as delegated.
- Business Performance Reporting: Own the preparation and consolidation of executive-level reporting, including dashboards, Board of Management materials, and performance reviews. Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Delivery Management: Drive the operating cadence of the Health Line of Business, ensuring alignment of priorities, monitoring deliverables, and maintaining accountability for outcomes across functions.
- Financial Oversight Planning: Oversee and challenge Line of Business budgets, forecasts, and cost development to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Communications: Manage senior stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, effective, and impactful internal and external communications.
- Governance: Ensure the effective tracking and resolution of legal, compliance, audit, and regulatory matters, proactively escalating risks and driving closure.
- Transformation: Identify and implement improvements to processes, governance frameworks, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Requirements / What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, project management, or a similar role within a complex international business environment.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Fluent English (mandatory); German and/or French are considered an advantage.
- Experience in the insurance sector is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and within a matrix organization.
- A high level of reliability, dedication, and commitment.
- You work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data, analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.
