build for those who build
opus builds the platform to deploy AI agents across industrial supply chain operations. Our mission is to strengthen Europe's industrial backbone by making operational processes future-proof. The agents automate the purchase order lifecycle end to end, giving companies control over their single largest cost driver. They run on the supply chain context graph: a real-time intelligence layer built from ERP data and the knowledge that today only lives in inboxes and people's heads. That graph is where the value sits, and it carries agent use cases far beyond procurement. Leading companies already trust opus AI agents and are transforming their processes into a competitive advantage with us.
we are in production with enterprise customers – scaling rapidly and shipping new features as we speak.
we secured $6M in funding from Project A, Speedinvest, Sequoia Scouts and industry veterans like Marcell Vollmer (former Chief Digital Officer & Chief Procurement Officer of SAP)
we are a team of entrepreneurs, industry experts, and engineers driven by a joint ambition – to safeguard the economic foundation of Europe for future generations.
as Founders Associate Intern (GTM), you sit close to the commercial engine. you work side by side with Niklas (COO), our Founding GTM and our BDRs, and you take on the work that makes the whole motion sharper. one week it's researching target accounts and building the case for why we should hit them, the next it's cleaning the CRM, drafting outreach sequences, or joining customer calls to write up what we learned. you don't wait to be told which problem to pick up, and once you own it, you don't need to be chased. you ship the memo, the deck, the follow-up on time and iterate from there. this is a founder residency for anyone serious about GTM: you'll see how enterprise deals actually get built, and shape them while you do.
The impact you will have
- sharpen the target list. we already know who our ICP is and we've got a list to work with. you make it sharper: research the accounts we're not sure about, find the right personas inside them, add the ones we've missed. what you research today becomes booked meetings next week.
- sharpen how we reach out. outreach sequences, subject lines, LinkedIn openers. you take what's working, iterate on what isn't, and cut what doesn't land. you own the loop.
- turn calls into intelligence. you sit in on customer conversations, capture the objections, the language, the reactions, and turn them into notes the team actually uses. every call teaches us something and you make sure we learn it.
- keep the pipeline honest. CRM current, follow-ups on time, meeting prep tight. nothing drops because you were on it.
- take on what needs owning. GTM at an early-stage company means important work doesn't always have a name yet. you see the gap, you flag it, you pick it up.
- learn the craft from the inside. enterprise selling into industrial supply chains is a rare skill, and rarer every year. you'll see it up close: how deals actually move, how founders sell, how a market gets defined. what you learn here compounds into whatever you do next.
️ What makes you a great fit
- sharp thinker, sharp writer. you can turn a messy customer call into three clear takeaways, or a broad question into a structured research plan. your memos are short, specific, and easy to act on.
- you don't wait to be told. y you can turn a messy customer call into three clear takeaways, or a broad question into a structured research plan. your memos are short, specific, and easy to act on.
- AI-native by default. you use AI tools daily in how you work. Cursor, Claude, notion AI, whatever it takes. if it can be automated, you look for how.
- curious about GTM and industrial companies. you want to understand how deals actually get built and how European industry actually runs. this isn't a resume line for you, it's what you're here to learn.
- prior GTM exposure is a plus, not a must. if you've already interned in sales, worked at a startup, or seen a commercial motion up close, you'll ramp faster. if not, come with the curiosity and we'll teach you the rest.
- seller at heart, or on your way to becoming one. you like people, and people like talking to you. you can hold energy through the tenth call of the day. you get a genuine kick out of turning a cold "no" into a real conversation — even if you've never done it professionally yet.
- fluent, native-level German and professional English. cold outreach to industrial customers happens in German and it needs to sound like home. internal work runs in English.
