We are seeking a AV Program Engineer 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities:
You will be working with a dynamic team of system engineers responsible for design decisions, implementation, and programming in all areas of A/V Systems and the technical direction of multiple projects across multiple programs for operations.
Responsibilities include designing the systems hardware and software framework for large complex resilient systems and formulating high-level architectural solutions to ensure implemented solutions meet stakeholder needs, standards, and performance requirements.
Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:

Designing, Developing and deploying software for Audio/Visual Control Systems, including Touch Panel files, while following DEVOPS tools and processes.

Designing configuration frameworks and documentation for large complex resilient systems.

Commissioning Audio Visual Systems including; configuring equipment, calibrating and tuning Audio Systems, coordinating configuration of customer equipment (Cisco Video Teleconferencing Suites, Microsoft Teams Systems and VDI PCs), Calibrating and setting up Video Walls, configuring A/V Network switches and troubleshooting network issues, Control System testing and bug remediation.

Performing peer reviews and providing feedback of team member designs, control system programs and touch panels.

Developing post installation documentation to facilitate Operation and Maintenance of Audio-Visual Systems.

Develop and conduct on-site user and administrative training for the installed integrated audio/visual systems.

Developing and communicating specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.

Accurately track the status of source code development to Project Managers, Engineering Managers and clients.
Qualifications:
Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Applicants MUST hold an ACTIVE SECRET Clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
Key Requirements:
Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years' OR Master's Degree in Engineering with 3+ years' of progressive experience in the following: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a Related Engineering Discipline.
Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated experience programming and deploying Crestron control system programs, for Conference Rooms, Operations Centers and Divisible Rooms.
-
Demonstrated experience calibrating and tuning Audio Solutions including, microphones, speakers and Digital Signal Processors for Conference Rooms, Operations Centers and Divisible Rooms.

Demonstrated experience configuring and deploying Audio Visual Systems including; Video Teleconferencing Solutions (Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx) and AV-Over-IP solutions (Crestron DM-NVX, DANTE).

Experience developing and integrating with third-party control modules and services using industry standard communication protocols (SSH, RESTFul, RS232, etc.).

Experience developing and deploying software applications in C# .NET (preferably .NET 4.7.2) for multi-core processor platforms.

Certifications with Crestron Control Systems, Biamp and/or QSC are required.

Certifications with Extron, Vanguard LED, Daktronics, desired but not required.

Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills with the ability and experience communicating directly with executive leadership.
