Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.
Job Description
To oversee logistics, planning and purchasing to ensure the consistency, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and adequacy of the procurement process. Responsible for overseeing and facilitating the purchasing strategy, supervising teams of subordinate staff in purchasing, operations and logistics, and ensuring all employees and processes meet the company’s standards and designations for work quality.

Developing and improving existing procurement strategies, principles, processes and policies that can be applied across the various jurisdictions that operates in for various product categories the organization requires for its projects

Manage project risks with creative problem-solving and escalate as required

Coordination with internal stakeholders and board members to align procurement strategy with companies goals

Develop and nurture relationships with the key vendors and service providers to support the scaling of and requirements of the business

Support dissemination of organizational know-how and learning with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications

Master Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or similar

Minimum of total of 10 years of working experience, including management positions, experience in procurement and supply chain and experience in the Renewable Energy sector

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments and teams

Experienced in contract negotiations

Strong organization skills and superior attention to detail

Experience in managing multi-site and multi-vendor orders at the international level

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Experienced dealing with a variety of legal, liability, and insurance administration issues.

Good knowledge of computer software, such as supply chain and ERP systems

Ability to proactively manage and resolve conflicts

Preferred: Executive master of business administration, certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics from accredited institutions, such as: CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification
Six Sigma or Lean certifications (if relevant) Note: Certifications are not specifically required but may be advantageous -
English, other languages such as German, Spanish, Chinese are preferred
