Most cloud security tools assume a human is in the loop. That assumption has expired, and closing that gap is what we're here to do. Teams ship with AI. AI ships with Linro.
We are a cloud security company building the enforcement layer for the age of AI. As AI agents increasingly change cloud infrastructure, Linro sits in front of those actions and enforces what's allowed, from commit to runtime. We're early and moving fast: founded in Berlin in 2026, backed by seasoned entrepreneurs, operators and domain experts, with a working platform and our first customers and partners.
The Founders Associate is the co-founders’ right hand: part shadow, part force multiplier. You work alongside the founding team, absorb the full context of the company, and take on whatever most needs an owner, so the founders can spend their time where only they can. Some weeks that's fundraising, others go-to-market, operations or hiring. The common thread is judgment and ownership, not a fixed mandate.
You'll be in the conversations that decide where Linro goes, and you'll be trusted to act on them.
There is no typical week, and that's the point. You take on whatever most needs an owner and see it through: a hiring push one month, investor materials and diligence the next, the operational backbone that a fast-growing team keeps outgrowing after that. The through-line is judgment, not a task list. When something important is falling through the cracks, you own it, and the areas where you're strongest become yours to lead.
An outstanding communicator. Non-negotiable for us. You write and speak clearly, connect with people easily, and earn their trust fast.
Exceptional judgment and drive. You work out what matters most, take it on, and see it through.
Bias for speed. You close loops before anyone asks.
A generalist genuinely comfortable with ambiguity, constant context-switching, and no playbook.
Enough technical fluency to keep up. You don't need to code, but a basic understanding of databases and real fluency with today's AI tools are key.
Globally mobile. We're building in Europe now, with a US presence in progress, so you can travel, represent us at events, and be where the founders need you.
A cybersecurity background is a welcome bonus, not a requirement. Curiosity about the space matters more than prior experience in it.
Startup, consulting or VC experience.
Exposure to fundraising, GTM, or operations at an early-stage company.
Exposure to enterprise or B2B software sales, or a real appetite to learn it fast.
You've built or run something of your own, a side project, a small business, a community, and know what it takes to make it work.
Remote-first across Europe, with the whole team together in person once a quarter. This role in particular means real time alongside the founders, so expect to travel and to be flexible on where you are.
A front-row seat at a fast-moving, well-backed startup from day one, with total visibility across the company and a direct line to the founders and investors.
As Linro scales, so does this role. The strongest Founders Associates grow into Chief of Staff, operations or GTM leadership, or a function of their own.
Meaningful equity. You are an early employee, and your stake reflects it.
If you want a defined lane and a clear ladder, this role will frustrate you. If you want the steepest learning curve you can find, real ownership of hard and ambiguous problems, and a front-row seat to building a company, few opportunities compare. Tell us one thing when you apply: the hardest thing you've ever owned end to end.
