As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a curious and passionate individual to join our team as the (Senior) Product Manager (f/m/d) in Berlin, Leipzig or remote within Germany and drive our business forward.
Our customer journeys are complex and highly scalable. People explore large assortments, create or remix designs, shop across multiple formats, and build brands as creators. In this role, you own a domain within these journeys and turn it into a best‑in‑class experience. You shape how customers create, discover, decide, and buy, using AI and data to drive better outcomes. You connect customer value with commercial impact, turn ambiguity into shippable products, and influence product strategy while raising the bar for product management across Spread Group.
Product Strategy & Discovery

Own a multi‑quarter vision focused on clear business outcomes.

Validate customer problems through structured discovery, research, and data.

Define high‑value AI use cases, including logic, guardrails, and success criteria.

Turn complex problems into clear requirements and partner with engineering/data on experiments and iteration.
Commercial Ownership

Own key commercial KPIs for your domain such as revenue, margin, conversion, or efficiency

Build business cases and collaborate with business analytics and commercial teams on forecasts and unit economics.

Prioritize work based on customer value, product quality, technical investment, and impact.
Execution, Collaboration & Leadership

Align stakeholders and adjacent teams through evidence‑based storytelling.

Lead cross‑functional teams with context and goals rather than task management.

Mentor others in modern product practices and ensure responsible, transparent data use.

Communicate strategy and decisions clearly through crisp written documentation.

Substantial product management experience with ownership of customer facing digital products.

Proven ability to take products from concept to launch and iteration.

Strong analytical skills across experimentation, funnel analysis and financial modeling.

Experience defining metrics for software and AI supported features.

Ability to work closely with engineering and data teams on APIs, system behavior and integration topics.

Strong writing skills and the ability to express complex topics clearly.

Evidence of using AI tools personally to speed up and improve product work.
Nice-to-have:

Experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, creator platforms or merchandising systems.

Familiarity with AI supported features such as AI search, recommendations, conversational interfaces or automated content creation.

Understanding of data pipelines, monitoring practices, safety guardrails and human in the loop processes.

Experience with commercial responsibility including budgeting, pricing, promotions or (partial) P&L ownership.

Proven track record of improving conversion, throughput, customer satisfaction or operational efficiency at scale.
