Then come and join our global team as Head of Portfolio and Platform Management (PPM) for our Advanced Therapies Business (AT) (f/m/d).
Your tasks and responsibilities:

You lead the Portfolio and Platform Management (PPM) function within Advanced Therapies (AT), managing global teams across Portfolio Management, Product Management, and Platform, Solution & Digitalization Management.

You shape product and portfolio strategies aligned with AT’s mission and informed by market, clinical, technology, and healthcare trends.

You translate the company’s strategic priorities into a clear portfolio, platform, and product roadmap in close collaboration with the business segments and AT R&D and steer PPM contributions to achieve AT's strategic, financial, and operational objectives.

You drive the evolution of the AT portfolio by introducing new portfolio elements and defining their strategic positioning in alignment with key stakeholders to ensure sustainable portfolio growth, market differentiation, and customer value.

You drive the success and market adoption of key portfolio elements, while ensuring successful portfolio transitions, lifecycle management and alignment with cross-business-area and cross-business-line strategies.

You further develop and strengthen the newly established Digitalization Management function, shaping the ARTIS digitalization strategy and driving product management for digital solutions that complement and extend the customer value delivered by our hardware portfolio across AT's clinical target groups.

You lead and continuously improve the Portfolio and Platform Management processes within AT, ensuring strategic alignment, effective governance, and successful portfolio execution.

You drive alignment and decision-making across key stakeholders, ensuring consistent portfolio, platform, and product decisions that maximize customer value and business impact.

You serve as a member of the Global AT Leadership Team.

You lead managers and teams in a multinational environment, fostering collaboration, accountability, innovation, customer-centricity, and high performance.

You build, develop, and inspire a diverse global organization while driving talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Your qualifications and experience:

You have an excellent understanding of the overall AT market, including its clinical segments, customer needs, competitive dynamics, challenges and priorities

You have a deep understanding of key technology and innovation trends in the AT area, with specific focus on digitalization, software-enabled solutions, and Healthcare AI
-
You have a good knowledge of clinical pathways and workflows related to minimally invasive and image-guided procedural therapies and its competitive landscape
-
You have extensive experience within the medical device industry, including imaging and digital health technologies, and a strong understanding of the regulatory environment governing medical devices
-
You leverage a solid R&D background to contribute to the management of the agile solution trains

You have a broad professional toolbox of fundamental methods for portfolio and product management, e.g., product definition, requirement management, analytics, commercial / financial fundamentals and management tools

You bring broad cross-functional leadership experience spanning strategy, portfolio management, product management, and general management

You have a successful track record in leading global projects / organizations within a matrixed international organizational environment
