Your role
The (Junior) Fragrance Development Manager supports the Technical Perfumery team by managing fragrance rework projects and coordinating cross-functional activities.
This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract for 1 year.
- Coordinate and manage fragrance rework projects from initiation to completion.
- Drive project timelines, track deliverables, and maintain project data in relevant systems.
- Act as the central interface between Technical Perfumery, Regulatory, QC, Labs, Sales, and other stakeholders.
- Support Technical Perfumers in developing successful fragrance reworks aligned with business and customer needs.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of raw material replacers.
- Support the streamlining of the FRA material palette.
- Prepare, organize, and coordinate internal testing and evaluation activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and ways of working.
About you
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Fragrance, Cosmetic Science, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
Education from ISIPCA or another recognized fragrance/perfumery program is considered a strong advantage.
- First experience in fragrance development, fragrance evaluation, technical perfumery, or product development.
- Understanding of the fragrance regulatory environment.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Good IT skills, ideally including SAP, CX/EPPM, or similar systems.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
