What You'll Do
As a CE Learning & Development Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling our people to grow and succeed. You will work closely with teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into practical, high-impact learning experiences.
You will act as a trusted L&D partner on the ground — bringing our L&D vision to life locally, while integrating the latest trends such as AI-enabled learning and enabling more personalized, in-the-moment-of-need learning experiences.
At the same time, you ensure that learning truly lands: designing and delivering high-quality formats, evolve content where needed, and creating an engaging, impactful experience for learners. What matters most is your ability to combine a strong sense for people with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset — supporting development, enabling change, and continuously improving how learning is experienced day to day.
What You’ll Do
Strategic L&D Business Partnering

Act as a local L&D partner to business stakeholders e.g., senior cohorts, PA nodes, Teaming, GenAI Lab etc.

Develop a strong understanding of business priorities, capability needs, and skill gaps

Support structured needs analyses and translate insights into focused, actionable learning priorities

Contribute to shaping local L&D plans in alignment with CE and global strategic direction
L&D Vision, Trends & Capability Building

Act as an L&D ambassador on the ground, bringing the broader L&D vision to life locally

Stay close to external trends and best practices e.g., AI, digital learning and translate them into relevant local iexperiences

Support the evolution of learning approaches to ensure future-relevant capability building

Learning Orchestration & Delivery

Own and deliver high-quality local learning formats (virtual and in-person)

Design, run, and evaluate trainings and learning experiences

Adapt and refine global content to ensure local relevance and impact

Ensure strong end-to-end quality across all learning activities
Stakeholder Engagement, Change & Operational Excellence

Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, trainers, and learners to drive engagement and impact

Actively support adoption of new learning initiatives and formats

Ensure smooth execution of learning (logistics, LMS, coordination)

Drive continuous improvement, simplification, automation, and operational effectiveness
You’re Good At

Profound understanding of Learning & Development, with a strong interest in how learning drives capability building in a business context

Highly structured thinking and the ability to translate needs into practical, actionable solutions

Clear, confident communication and ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different seniority levels

Curiosity and openness to new learning trends e.g., AI-enabled learning and how they can be applied in practice

Strong learner-centric mindset combined with a good sense for business priorities

Ability to manage multiple topics, stay organized, and deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment
What You'll Bring

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in HR, L&D, consulting, or a comparable environment, ideally with exposure to learning, change, or capability building topics

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field

Proven ability to drive initiatives or projects in multi-stakeholder environments
-
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and move topics forward pragmatically
-
Growth mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve
-
Deep digital affinity; familiarity with learning management systems e.g., SABA is a plus
-
Additional experience in consulting or fast-paced environments, as well as exposure to change, coaching, facilitation, or organizational development topics, is beneficial

We’re a team of 12+ highly ambitious learning experts with multiple backgrounds and one goal: shape a unique learning portfolio, that truly elevates how every BCGer grows, performs and succeeds. We own learning for all our Consulting and Business Services Teams across 14 offices and bring it to life in formats that are hands-on, engaging, and built to stick - including at our L&D Campus in Berlin, where we welcome learners from across Central Europe for in-person trainings. Working closely with the business, we focus on what really matters, and turn that into practical, high-quality learning.
