n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
Your main goal will be to make n8n’s IT operations reliable, secure, and scalable while reducing manual work through thoughtful, maintainable automation.
You’ll combine hands-on IT operations with continuous process improvement across the following areas:
Own day-to-day identity and access management across Okta, Google Workspace, GitHub, and connected SaaS applications.
Manage employee and application lifecycle workflows, including provisioning, access changes, group assignments, troubleshooting, and deprovisioning.
Maintain an accurate SaaS inventory and support application administration, lifecycle management, access governance, and account reconciliation.
Deliver reliable and timely onboarding and offboarding experiences in close partnership with People, Finance, managers, and application owners.
Manage and troubleshoot n8n’s primarily macOS device fleet through our endpoint management tooling.
Support hardware procurement, device lifecycle workflows, and secure endpoint operations for a growing distributed team.
Design and build secure automations for recurring IT processes using n8n, APIs, scripting, and AI-assisted tooling where appropriate.
Redesign manual workflows so they become observable, documented, reliable, and easier to operate at scale.
Build automations with appropriate logging, error handling, monitoring, ownership, and human approval steps for sensitive decisions.
Provide responsive L1/L2 IT support while using recurring issues to identify opportunities for systemic improvement.
Create and maintain clear runbooks, process documentation, escalation paths, and operational controls.
Support security and compliance activities, including access reviews, audit evidence collection, SOC 2, and ISO 27001-related processes.

Why join us?
As the first direct hire into IT at n8n, you’ll have meaningful influence over how the function develops. You won’t inherit a rigid or highly bureaucratic operating model — you’ll help shape the systems, workflows, documentation, and standards that support our next stage of growth.
Your work will extend far beyond resolving tickets. You’ll operate critical IT systems, connect tools through APIs and workflows, and use n8n and AI-assisted automation to make our internal operations faster, safer, and more reliable. You’ll gain broad exposure across IAM, SaaS governance, endpoint management, security, compliance, and workplace automation while partnering closely with teams across the company.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first organisation that values autonomy, experimentation, strong judgment, and continuous improvement. As the IT function expands, you’ll have the opportunity to take on greater ownership across operational IAM, SaaS management, device operations, and automation.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?
