At Raytheon is currently seeking a FSR to support up to twenty (20) Sentinel Radar distributed throughout EUCOM with FSR primary support location at Ansbach, Germany. As part of this support, the FSR will travel to additional US Army sites throughout EUCOM to support US Army as requested. Other potential Sentinel locations are per US Army need / deployment and may include escorted travel to neighboring countries such as Poland and Romania.
This is an accompanied assignment. This position is contingent on the candidate’s ability to meet all deployment needs at all times to include passing a physical if required for the EUCOM region as well as deployment through US Army CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) (if directed by US Army customer).
Fullerton, CA WILL NOT be the permanent home location, only the initial on-boarding will take place in Fullerton.

Travel is approximately 40% throughout EUCOM.
What You Will Do
-
Provide guidance to assigned US Army Sentinel Radar Maintainers MOS94M and Raytheon Sentinel teams, as necessary, to complete intermediate and depot level maintenance, fault isolation, alignment, calibration and repair verification that is beyond their authorized capability

Support regular Sentinel maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) per Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).

Support the US Army for Sentinel emplacement / march order, if required.

Support the US Army in coordination for 400Hz generator power in support of Sentinel operations.

Regular use of simple hand tools (e.g. wrenches, ball allen sets, grease gun) and test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, power meter, multimeter) as part of Sentinel maintenance and troubleshooting.

Keep inventory and maintenance records on RTX spares and test equipment provided by program to support 24/7 Sentinel operations.

Support movement of Sentinel spares to work locations, completion of shipping records as needed, maintaining accountability of spare parts to program.

Ability to travel to additional remote sites outside of Ansbach, Germany to support assigned Sentinel systems.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

3+ years experience in the operation and maintenance of Radar Systems, S band and/or X band artillery search and acquisition radar systems (e.g. Firefinder and Sentinel).

3+ years experience using technical manuals, interpreting product drawings and/or reading schematics as part of troubleshooting system failures.

3+ years experience working with test equipment, e.g. Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, Digital Multimeters.

Able to meet required overseas medical requirements to deploy via CRC to EUCOM to include required vaccines and hearing / vision tests.

Willing to complete a minimum twelve (12) month assignment from the date of arrival at EUCOM location.

Able to apply system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and maintenance to resolve Sentinel operational problems.

Ability to lift 25 lbs. and assist with two person lifts up to 75 lbs. with available lifting assistance.

Able to work outdoors in extreme climate conditions with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees.

Able to work extended work days (if needed) and be on-call to US Army units 24/7.
Qualifications We Prefer

CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus.
-
MOS 94M Radar Repairer or Military technical training and certification as a radar maintainer.

Knowledge of Military protocol to include Operational and Tactical Procedures Associated with Air Defense Systems.

Experience in Air Defense Tactical Operations at the Battery or higher level.
-
Experience of deployment through CRC and working on a military installations.
-
Experience working with a team providing systems maintenance and equipment record keeping.

Good written and verbal communication skills.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 5 years of related experience. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Must have at least 10 years of related experience without a degree.

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
