Join Amer Sports as an IT Solution Architect – SAP Sales – Fashion Industry and help shape the future of sales processes across our global portfolio of iconic sports and outdoor brands.
You will be part of a highly skilled in-house SAP team driving innovation and leading our transformation from ECC to SAP S/4HANA at global scale. Working closely with business stakeholders, international IT teams and external partners, you will design scalable, harmonized and clean-core SAP solutions that support our brands, regions and evolving channel landscape.
The role combines deep SAP Sales expertise with an understanding of how B2B and D2C processes connect across an omnichannel environment. It is ideal for candidates from Fashion, Sportswear, Apparel, Footwear or Consumer Goods who can think end-to-end and translate business needs into robust SAP solution architecture.
Solution Design Ownership & Governance
- Own end‑to‑end functional and solution architecture for SAP Sales processes across Amer Sports collaborate with Omnichannel teams for seamless integration
- Act as a key solution authority, defining, governing, and approving solution designs in line with SAP standards, clean‑core principles, and global IT governance
- Ensure seamless end‑to‑end process integration across Sales, Logistics, Finance, Retail, and E‑Commerce
IT Process Design & Transformation
- Play a leading role in global Sales initiatives and major transformation programs, including the ECC to S/4HANA journey
- Drive alignment between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external partners
- Set quality standards for functional specifications and oversee their execution to ensure scalable, robust, and globally reusable solutions
SAP S/4HANA Functional & Solution Architecture
- Lead functional design and configuration of SAP Sales in SAP S/4HANA for complex fashion and vertical business scenarios
- Provide thought leadership for advanced Sales processes, proactively managing cross‑module dependencies and architectural impacts
- Guide teams toward harmonized, future‑ready Sales solutions while balancing standardization with brand and regional needs
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure enterprise‑level stability and reliability of SAP Sales solutions in close collaboration with the support organization
- Mentor and guide support teams, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency
- Serve as a recognized subject‑matter expert and sparring partner for SAP Sales and Omnichannel solutions globally
Retail & E‑Commerce Omnichannel Enablement
- Maintain a sound understanding of Retail, E‑Commerce, and omnichannel business processes to ensure end-to-end integration across B2B, Retail, and Digital channels.
- Strong collaboration with Omnichannel teams to ensure SAP Sales solutions are aligned with cross-channel requirements and support seamless end-to-end processes across B2B, Retail and Digital channels.
- Consider Retail and omnichannel requirements when designing SAP Sales solutions, supporting scenarios such as click & collect, ship-from-store, and cross-channel fulfillment where relevant.
- Familiarity with SAP CAR capabilities, including POSDTA, AMR, OAA, and OPP, is considered beneficial for understanding omnichannel solution architectures but is not a mandatory requirement for the role
- You bring hands-on experience incl. configuration expertise in SAP Sales and Order-to-Cash
- You understand SAP SD end-to-end, including sales order processing, ATP and backorder processing, pricing, output management, customer master data, SAP Fiori and integration with Logistics and Finance.
- You are familiar with B2B (Wholesale) sales processes and can connect them with D2C (Retail and E-Commerce) requirements in an integrated omnichannel landscape.
- Experience in Fashion, Sportswear, Apparel, Footwear or Consumer Goods would be a strong advantage, especially if you understand seasonal product lifecycles, customer allocations, inventory visibility and global distribution processes.
- You have technical understanding of SAP Solution architectures, integrations, data flows and IDoc processing to work confidently with development and integration teams.
- You are experienced in guiding external partners and system integrators, ensuring their contributions align with solution design standards, business priorities and delivery expectations.
- You enjoy working in agile, hybrid or product-oriented environments and bring strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Retail and E-Commerce processes, SAP CAR capabilities such as POSDTA, AMR, OAA and OPP are welcome, but not mandatory.
- You are curious about emerging technologies, including AI-enabled business solutions, intelligent automation, analytics and digital innovation within the SAP ecosystem.
- You communicate confidently in English, take ownership of your topics and are open to occasional travel to other Amer Sports locations.
