Job Description
Are you a highly organized and proactive professional who thrives in an international, fast-paced commercial environment?
Join Salomon as an EMEA Export Business Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the growth and operational excellence of our Export business throughout the EMEA region.
Reporting to the Export Business Director EMEA, you will act as a central point of coordination across Commercial Management, Business Development, Customer Service, Marketing and Supply teams. This role goes far beyond traditional coordination responsibilities. You will help drive forecasting accuracy, support commercial execution, improve business processes and ensure the seamless conversion of our order book into sales.
As part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial Export organization, you will partner with internal stakeholders and external distributors to support business growth, deliver operational excellence and continuously improve ways of working. You will also have the opportunity to broaden your commercial exposure over time, contributing to projects linked to business performance, analytics and strategic initiatives.

1. Commercial Coordination & Business Support
Build strong relationships with Export Commercial Managers (CMM), Business Development Managers (BDM) and Customer Service teams to support business growth and service excellence.
Work closely with CMMs and BDMs to support the implementation of commercial and sales strategies.
Serve as a key contact for export customers regarding product information and marketing assets.
Support the execution of go-to-market activities, ensuring all sales tools and systems remain accurate and updated.
Coordinate distributor meetings and events, including agendas, information sharing and stakeholder alignment.
2. Forecasting, Analytics & Reporting
Collaborate with Export Commercial Managers to build and validate accurate forecasts.
Monitor and prepare sales performance reports for Export regions.
Support supply analysis activities, including data consolidation and communication.
Provide business data and insights to support commercial decision-making.
Help drive business performance through effective forecasting and analytics.
3. Sales Operations & Order Management
Partner closely with Customer Service teams to support order conversion against product availability.
Process promotional order entries in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Service teams.
Coordinate and monitor sample management activities.
Support warranty claim management across the EMEA Export business.
Ensure seamless execution of operational processes across stakeholders.
4. Sales Tools & Seasonal Launch Support
Prepare seasonal Export product toolboxes, sales presentations and seasonal highlights.
Support sell-in and sell-through activities across distributor markets.
Maintain and improve sales support materials used across the Export organization.
Ensure commercial teams have the necessary tools and information to execute successfully.
5. Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and collaboration.
Participate in special projects and business initiatives supporting Export growth and effectiveness.
Act as a back-up for team members during holidays, absences or peak business periods.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems, tools and workflows.
Support a culture of collaboration, agility and operational excellence.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in Operations, Customer Service, Commercial Support, Export Operations or a similar business coordination role.
Strong forecasting, reporting and analytical skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel.
Experience working with SAP is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
Experience working in international and cross-cultural environments.
Fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
University degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
Experience in consumer goods, sporting goods, export environments or international commercial organizations is advantageous.

Additional Information
Full-time, permanent contract based in our office in Garching (Munich), Germany
Travel: Approximately 4 trips per year within the EMEA region
