The Processes & Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) drives the implementation, optimisation, and governance of HR processes, systems, and people analytics across the Segment Central Europe.
Acting as the counterpart to Group People, this role ensures that global HR & HSEQ process frameworks and system standards are effectively translated into efficient, scalable, and compliant solutions within the Segment. The SME focuses on operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle. The role partners closely with Group People, Segment People leadership, Business Area HR, Shared Services, and IT, delivering impact through coordination, enablement, and stakeholder influence.

Key Responsibilities
- Adapt and implement global People process and system frameworks within segment Central Europe
- Ensure alignment with Group standards while addressing segment business, regulatory, and operational needs
- Support governance and standardisation of people processes, data structures, and system usage across countries
- Drive optimisation of end-to-end HR processes (hire-to-retire), focusing on efficiency, scalability, and user experience
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, increase automation, and improve service delivery in collaboration with Shared Services
- Support deployment and continuous improvement of HR systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors and related platforms)
- Partner with Group People and IT to ensure effective system integration, data integrity, and compliance with data protection standards
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by translating regional needs into system and process requirements
- Promote consistent adoption and effective use of HR systems and processes across all markets
- Act as the key interface between Group People Process/System owners, Segment HR, and business stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with other SMEs (Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits) to ensure integrated HR solutions
- Drive People Analytics capabilities within the Segment
- Ensure availability, quality, and consistency of HR data across systems and countries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, HR, Economics, or related field
- Strong experience in HR processes, HR systems (ideally in SAP SuccessFactors), and People Analytics in an international environment
- Good understanding of HR operations, process governance, and digital HR transformation
- Experience working with global frameworks and adapting them to local contexts
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Structured, solution-oriented, and continuous improvement as well as data-driven mindset
- Fluent in English and German is a must
