Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Define and champion the enterprise design vision aligned with Infineon’s brand promise, ensuring consistent expression across digital products, platforms, and enterprise experiences

Lead end-to-end design strategy spanning product interfaces, brand expression, and partner/customer touchpoints across the technical and enterprise environments, translating brand identity and business objectives into scalable design frameworks

Establish and govern enterprise digital design systems that standardize visual language, interaction models and usability patterns across the enterprise

Advance UX innovation for complex enterprise workflows, shaping modern interaction patterns and usability approaches suited for technical and multi-stakeholder environments

Leverage recent industry research, human centered design principle sand behavioral insights to inform design standards and elevate the quality and effectiveness of enterprise experiences which differentiate Infineon from competitors

Translate CX and UX research insights and content strategy and convert them into cohesive design solutions, collaborating with Corporate Brand and Communications to deliver intuitive end to end digital journeys.
Design System & Component Governance -
Own the enterprise design system strategy, including tokens, components, patterns, and variants.

Ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across internal and external products.

Establish and enforce governance processes for system contributions, updates, and adoption.

Partner with engineering to maintain cross-platform parity and implementation quality.
UX/UI & Experience Architecture -
Define and maintain UX principles, interaction patterns, and visual standards.

Review, approve, and guide product-level UX and UI execution, ensuring alignment with system standards.

Champion customer-centric design, informed by research, analytics, and feedback loops.
Multi-Product & Multi-Audience Oversight -
Ensure design system and experience standards serve both internal-facing tools and external customer products.

Collaborate with product owners, content teams, and CRM to align on experience strategy across touchpoints.

Define variants or adaptations where internal and external requirements diverge, without compromising UX integrity.
Team Leadership & Enablement -
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of designers, researchers, and system leads, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Partner with Experience Studios VP and CX/UX VP to coordinate execution, research, and adoption initiatives.

Evangelize design standards and experience strategy to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Coordinate and staff with agencies and free lancers
Metrics & Continuous Improvement -
Establish KPIs and metrics for design system adoption, UX consistency, and product usability outcomes.

Conduct audits and health checks of the design system and component usage across products.

Drive continuous refinement of patterns, components, and tokens based on research, analytics, and product evolution.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
As a Director Creative Design you recognize and seize potential for improving efficiency with dedication and determination. Furthermore, you demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks. Lastly, you have a good sense for current trends and deduces potential improvements for your own team.

Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Communication, User experience design, Interactive Design, Digital Media, Advertising, or equivalent professional experience
-
10+ years in UX, UI, or product design at enterprise or B2B2B scale
-
Proven experience owning and governing enterprise scale design systems, including adoption and change management.
-
Deep experience managing patterns across complex technical applications (standalone or embedded in websites)
-
Expertise in patterns for improving lead generation for campaign microsites & conversion best practices Web & mobile application best practice patterns and technical limitations
-
Strong strategic thinking and systems design skills, able to connect creative vision with operational execution
-
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross functional senior stakeholders across product, engineering, brand, and CX.

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams across design, engineering, product, and content
-
Deep understanding of UX research, metrics, and customer-centered design frameworks
-
Expertise in tokens, components, patterns, and multi-platform design implementation
-
Excellent executive communication skills — capable of advocating design strategy to senior leadership
-
Experience managing internal and external product design experiences in semiconductor industry or a similar complex industry like pharmaceuticals or specialty chemicals

Familiarity with multi-brand or multi-platform governance
-
Experience driving UX maturity transformations or large scale adoption initiatives
-
Experience conducting design system audits and implementing adoption strategies
-
Background in change management, adoption, and enabling large teams to implement standards

Systems thinker with strong operational and strategic balance
-
Able to mentor and influence across senior leadership
-
Comfortable making trade-offs between brand, usability, and scalability

Passionate about customer experience excellence and driving measurable business impact
