Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for finance and accounting operations within a manufacturing site, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all processes
- End-to-end ownership of profitability management through detailed cost analysis, inventory valuation, and robust financial controlling frameworks
- Preparation, coordination, and continuous improvement of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning (LRP) aligned with business strategy
- Execution of variance analyses comparing actual manufacturing, labor, and procurement costs against standards, including identification of risks and recommendation of corrective actions
- Leadership and oversight of the month-end closing process to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
- Implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to corporate policies, EMEA GAAP, IFRS, and audit requirements
- Regional CMSO business partnering, including target setting for EMEA sites, consolidation of financial analytics, and provision of actionable insights for performance management
- Coordination of financial reporting and planning activities across EMEA sites in close collaboration with local MBC and global finance stakeholders
- Development, tracking, and continuous enhancement of production-related KPIs, driving operational excellence and cost transparency across manufacturing entities
- Leadership and development of a diverse finance team, including managers and working students, fostering performance, engagement, and capability growth
Your qualification
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field of study
- Several years (typically 5–10 years) of progressive experience in a comparable finance leadership role within a manufacturing or international industrial environment
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and advanced financial statement analysis
- Solid understanding of EMEA GAAP, IFRS, and cost accounting principles within a manufacturing context
- Proven experience working with SAP financial systems; experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is considered an advantage
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for financial modeling and analysis
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights
- High level of organizational and planning capability with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Confident in interpreting complex financial and legal documents and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide international teams toward shared objectives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and multicultural environments
- Pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and ability to drive results in a dynamic environment
