QuantumDiamonds is looking for a driven and creative Marketing & Communications Intern (f/m/d) to join our CEO Office and take ownership of how one of Europe's most exciting deep-tech startups shows up in the world. In this role, you won't just support the story. You'll shape and tell it, turning complex quantum sensing and semiconductor innovations into compelling content for media, stakeholders, and the broader public.
Working directly out of the CEO Office, you'll own real topics end to end, from public relations and media outreach to content creation, employer branding, and corporate communications. Your work will have real impact: our product and our whole company are evolving at breakneck speed, and getting these developments out to our customers and keeping everyone in the loop is mission-critical to our growth. Founded in 2022 as a spin-off of TU Munich, QD leverages quantum sensors to rapidly capture three-dimensional current maps within multi-layer chips. Our strong, international team of over 70, including physicists, engineers, data scientists, and other experts, works side by side with major semiconductor manufacturers, supporting chip debugging and accelerating yield analysis. Write and take full ownership of press releases, media pitches, blog articles, newsletters, and company announcements.

Build and manage our media network by identifying the right journalists, outlets, industry events, and speaking opportunities for QuantumDiamonds.

Keep your finger on the pulse by tracking media coverage, industry trends, and competitor communications, and turning insights into action.

Own the PR and communications calendar by planning and running campaigns across all channels, driving them from idea to impact.

Drive award applications, conference submissions, and thought leadership opportunities end to end.

Partner directly with technical, business, and leadership teams (including the CEO) to turn complex topics into compelling stories.

Own and evolve our communications toolkit: press kits, key materials, and media contact databases.

Design and launch social media and content campaigns that strengthen QuantumDiamonds' visibility and reputation.

Currently pursuing or already holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.

Written and verbal communication skills in English and German.

A passion for storytelling and an interest in deep tech, science, or innovation-driven industries.

Ability to translate technical topics into clear and engaging content for different audiences.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
