The Opportunity
This position works out of our Wiesbaden site - Molecular Diagnostics - Abbott GmbH. The position holder (m/f/d) is responsible for short and mid-term demand planning process in units and USD and driving the operational excellence in demand.

IBP Process: coordinate the Integrated business planning (IBP) process with management and cross-functional teams across EMEA through monthly Demand Review meetings.

Demand Planning: own the demand forecast process, consolidate the country demand forecasts in sales and units and develop a realistic demand plan for EMEA. Anticipate when to act and provide supporting detail to reach consensus on the demand forecast, identify and articulate issues and decisions that need to be addressed in the IBP meeting. Challenge forecast assumptions, ensure the demand forecast is integrated into and synchronized with the financial plans, continuously monitor variables affecting demand, collect and report rationale for variances and deviations to target.

Forecasting Accuracy: support efforts to drive accountability for forecast accuracy in the region through KPI reporting and feedback to process participants.

Overseeing processes in delivery of the month/ quarter: analyze the demand for the month/ quarter and work closely with Supply Chain team as well as Distribution manager to ensure sales commitments can be met. Creates and manages area or country product/shipment allocations during times of short supply.

New product launches: supports the development of new product launches and retirements plans.

Communication: develop and maintain communication links between finance, marketing, sales, and commercial excellence to ensure their inputs are built into the forecast.

KPI management: develop, maintain and constantly improve processes and performance measures for EMEA.

Ad-hoc projects: support the Commercial Excellence director in ad-hoc projects to enhance processes and commercial performance
Your Qualification:
University Degree in business, marketing, technical, science discipline or equivalent business experience with strong analytical skills
At least 3 years of business experience in similar roles or finance
Commercial minded
Very good knowledge and experience in Excel and Data Analytics
Team oriented, analytical and highly organized
Results driven - confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenges. Monitors quantitative progress, measures and acts quickly on deviations from plan
Must have demonstrated ability to operate within a cross-functional team
Highly organized with strong communication and influencing skills
Excellent English Language Skills, another language is a plus
