Your Mission
You get the chance to build: validate and prototype new initiatives, products, or business lines inside VARM, with real ownership from day one. You operate with founder-level autonomy – defining problems, testing hypotheses, and deciding what's worth scaling – while drawing on VARM's resources, data, and network.
You work closely with the CEO and founding team.
This role is being created to help VARM validate and build new initiatives following our recent €17.5M Series A.
Your Tasks
Validate and prototype new initiatives, products, or business lines inside VARM, with real ownership from day one
Define problems, test hypotheses, and decide what's worth scaling, drawing on VARM's resources, data, and network
Translate ambiguous opportunities into structured projects with clear outcomes, working closely with the CEO and founding team
Your Talent
2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment, consulting, investment banking, or VC – e.g. as a Strategy Consultant, Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, VC Analyst/Associate, Founder's Associate, Business Analyst, Business Operations Manager, or Project Manager
Alternatively, at least 2 years of experience as a Founder, Co-Founder, or Managing Director of your own company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a proactive, hands-on mindset
Fluent in both English and German, written and verbal
Self-starter with a high sense of ownership, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial mindset
Genuine interest in contributing to our goal of energy-efficient buildings and a sustainable future
