Starting on 1 August 2027, we are offering a practice-oriented dual study program in Business Administration - Health Care Management (B.A.) in partnership with DHBW Mannheim.
How your study program works

Getting started in Monheim am Rhein: You will begin with a two-month onboarding period before your academic studies begin, giving you the opportunity to get to know UCB, your colleagues, and your fellow dual students.
- Alternating theory and practice: Every three months, you will alternate between academic phases at DHBW in Mannheim and practical placements at UCB in Monheim.

What you bring
-
A general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)

Good to very good mathematics skills

Good to very good written and spoken English
-
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The ability to work independently and some initial professional experience, for example through internships or part-time jobs

Active involvement in school or extracurricular activities

Motivation, a willingness to learn, and a goal-oriented mindset

A collaborative mindset, initiative, and the ability to think outside the box
Important information

German language skills are essential, as most communication and teaching throughout the dual study program will be in German.

Applicants who are not German citizens and do not hold permanent residency must have a valid residence and work permit at the time of application.

As a first step in the application process, please submit the following documents:

Your CV in English

Your most recent school reports, graduation certificate or transcript of records in German or English
Once we have received your documents, we will send you a qualification form by email. Please complete the form and return it to us. We will then verify whether you meet the eligibility criteria for the dual study program based on your CV, certificates and the information provided in the form.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, we will invite you to an online or in-person interview, depending on your location. The interview will be conducted in German. To help you feel well prepared, we will provide you with a guide in advance. During the conversation, you will have the opportunity to learn more about UCB and our dual study program—and, of course, to ask any questions you may have.
The final stage of the application process is an online assessment center, which will also be conducted in German and usually takes place in a small group. If you reach this part of the process, we will provide you with all the relevant details in advance.
