Qorelo uses AI to automate some of the most mission-critical work in the enterprise: the management of SAP systems. SAP runs the core of the world's largest companies, including finance, supply chain, and operations, yet keeping it modern is slow, manual, and consultant-heavy. We're changing that.
Our AI agents help teams integrate, migrate, and modernize SAP faster and with fewer errors, compressing work that used to take months. We've raised $3.5M from HPI Ventures, the fund tied to the institute of SAP co-founder Hasso Plattner, along with other strong backers. We already work with Fortune 500 and DAX 40 companies, including Mercedes-Benz.
This is a rare profile, and we know it. We're looking for someone who has actually shipped in real landscapes, writes ABAP they'd defend in a code review, and at the same time has real depth in AI agents: how they're built, how they're orchestrated, and how SAP's post-Sapphire AI stack (Joule, Joule Studio, AI Foundation, and the new Business AI Platform) actually behaves in production rather than in keynote demos.
You'll be the person in the room who can whiteboard an agent architecture with our engineers in the morning and walk a DAX 40 CIO through an S/4HANA modernization roadmap in the afternoon, without losing depth in either conversation. Two backgrounds in one: hands-on SAP technologist and AI strategist.
You will not be writing slideware. Everything you design, you'll help build and land in real customer systems.
Our technical strategy on the SAP Business AI Platform (BTP, Business Data Cloud, AI Foundation), Joule, and Joule Studio: what we build on, what we integrate with, and where SAP's stack ends and ours begins
Design and architecture of AI agents that operate on SAP systems, from agent design and tool orchestration to guardrails and evaluation against real customer landscapes
Integrations against ECC and S/4HANA, including the messy realities: custom Z-code, modification-heavy systems, and decades of accumulated configuration
ABAP written and reviewed across our customer landscapes, holding the quality bar for code that runs inside Fortune 500 production systems
Translation of SAP's roadmap (release cycles, deprecations, AI announcements) into concrete product decisions for our team
Enterprise deployments, working alongside our architecture team to take customers from first workshop to production
Hands-on SAP BTP and ABAP experience, including modern ABAP (RAP, CDS, ABAP Cloud) and classic codebases alike, plus familiarity with AI-assisted ABAP development (Joule for Developers, SAP-ABAP-1)
A real implementation track record on S/4HANA and ECC: projects you delivered and systems you ran, not advisory engagements
Deep working knowledge of AI agents: agent architectures, LLM tool use and orchestration, and what it takes to make agents reliable enough for mission-critical systems
Working knowledge of building agents in Joule Studio 2.0, composing Joule Skills, grounding agents in the SAP Knowledge Graph and Business Data Cloud, and the Generative AI Hub for model access
A strong grasp of where SAP's agentic direction is headed (Agent Hub, Company Memory, the Autonomous Suite), including where the marketing ends and the actual capability begins
The range to operate at both CIO and developer level: credible in an architecture review and in a boardroom, in the same week
Fluent English; German is a plus given our customer base
You've built or shipped an AI agent or LLM-based system on top of an SAP landscape, even as a side project
You've led an S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation and still write code weekly
You get frustrated watching enterprises spend 18 months on projects you know could take 3
You want your work to set the direction of a company, not fill a seat in one
Real ownership. Meaningful equity and a direct hand in the company's direction, not just your day-to-day work. We're looking for people who want to shape a company, not join one.
Competitive salary, benchmarked for senior technical talent in Berlin.
The problems. Fortune 500 and DAX 40 production systems, including Mercedes-Benz. Your code and your architecture decisions run at the core of companies most engineers only read about.
The team. Builders and entrepreneurs who hold a high bar for every hire, including this one. The customer list above is the proof, not this sentence.
25 days paid vacation plus German public holidays.
Company offsites with the whole team.
An office in Berlin-Mitte. We prefer working together in person and run a hybrid model with flexibility around it. The fridge is stocked.
Tell us about something you've built, not just where you've worked. A migration you led, an agent you shipped, a war story from an ECC landscape that shouldn't have survived this long.
