As a Senior Engineer Field Application Engineering (f/m/div) in our Focus Field Application Engineering (FAE) team you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long-lasting partnerships that thrive on success.

Key responsibilities in your new role

Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market. Be the technical go-to-person in EMEA for System Solutions with focus on In-Vehicle Network for our key automotive customers

Support of go-to-market activities by providing solutions, reference designs, Software and tools for our customers’ applications. Work proactively on optimized system solutions for our customers’ projects together with the entire European Field Application Engineering Team, the Account Managers, the product experts and the business line

Discuss innovative application approaches with the customer development teams and collaborate with our development department and concept engineering teams to drive optimized new products and technologies. Understanding customers’ use cases and expected functions to be able to shape them into system requirements

Technical expert level customer support on application level with focus on digital products like Microcontroller, Ethernet Switches/Bridges, Memories and Power Supply products incl. Software and tools. Validate the application with the customer

Prepare and execute customer presentations and application training courses to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our system solutions and their applications

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer needs and develop targeted solutions to address them
-
Drive business growth by providing technical leadership and expertise to key automotive customers, and by identifying new opportunities for system solutions and applications in the EMEA region
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar fields
-
At least 4 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer or Development Engineer for automotive applications
-
Knowledge about Microcontroller, Ethernet Switches & Bridges and Memory products and experience with EE-Architectures / In-Vehicle Network applications would be beneficial

Experience with the analysis of issues in electronic circuits (familiar with Oscilloscopes, Debugger, Trace tools & Logic analyzer)
-
Embedded software and C-programming skills

Very good communication skills and strong drive, proactive and autonomous behavior
-
Willingness to travel depending on business needs, combined with a very structured and reliable working style

Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus
