Senior Manager, Head of Sales Force (m/f/d)
to join our team as soon as possible.
The Senior Manager, Head of Sales Force is responsible for leading, developing, and optimizing the Key Account Management-Team in Germany, achieving commercial targets and maximize market share. This role involves defining sales strategies, setting performance goals and monitor achievement, ensuring effective training and motivation of the sales force, and aligning sales activities with overall business and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities / Duties:

Lead, coach, and develop the Key Account Management team to drive customer acquisition, strategic account growth, and commercial excellence.

Participate in setting revenue targets and sales forecasting.

Setting and tracking KPIs to monitor target achievement with monthly reporting to Director Sales DACH.

Strategic sales planning in cooperation with sales management to maximize opportunities in the market.

Dedicated partner for existing major key account customers and opinion leaders (doctors, pharmacists and telemedicine partner) as well as wholesale partners.

Develop and execute key account strategy by identifying, acquiring, and growing strategic customer relationships to drive long-term business growth.

Planning and implementation of regional sales conferences.

Strong cross-functional cooperation with all relevant departments, in particular marketing and business development.

Designing, planning and implementation of customer training courses on a regular basis.

Participation in product and company presentations at national conferences and trade fairs.

Individual development and action plans for all team members.

Responsible for budget planning, control, in cooperation with Director Sales DACH.

Continuous market and competition monitoring.

Participate in forecasting, Cash flow meetings etc. on ad hoc basis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Exceptional leadership and strategic management skills, with the ability to drive performance and inspire sales teams.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities are essential, along with deep knowledge of pharmaceutical sales processes, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are required, as well as proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and performance tracking.
- A results-oriented mindset, adaptability, and experience in developing and executing sales strategies

Willingness to travel extensively within Germany

Ideally, but not necessarily, located in Berlin or the surrounding area

Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field.

+8 years of experience in sales, inbound/outbound sales, commercial or business-related fields
-
+5 years of leadership experience managing and developing a high-performing Key Account Management team.

Preferably qualified to work in pharmaceutical sales in accordance with Section 75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).
