Join our Customer Engineering team directly at the R&D center of a leading automotive manufacturer. Instead of just supporting tasks, you will actively develop tools, improve engineering workflows, and work hands-on with real systems used in daily operations.
Previous working students have already gone far beyond expectations – building new solutions, introducing AI-supported approaches, and creating the foundation for future development.
What you will do

Build and expand remote service testbenches used in real engineering environments

Improve a defect tracking solution
- smarter data structure and modern user interface

Apply AI-supported development methods
- work with coding agents and different AI models
- implement machine learning for error clustering

Develop a cross-platform dashboard
- visualize processing status and clustering results
- use on PC, tablet, and external monitors

Bring your solutions into real-life operation
- integrate tools into existing systems and workflows

Design and implement a flash network infrastructure
- extend systems with NAS and remote-capable components

Support flash and escalation scenarios
- handle high volumes of devices and continuously improve workflows
Your work will directly improve engineering efficiency and is already shaping the next generation of tools.
What you need

Student in computer science, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or similar

Interest in system engineering, IT infrastructure, and data-driven solutions

First experience with programming, scripting, and data analysis is a plus

Structured and independent working style

Hands-on mindset and willingness to take ownership
